A House of Knives is now out in paperback: I really like the cover. I think it’s got a great sense of place and drama about it. There have been some great reviews in The Daily Mail and The Sun so far. The Toronto Star wrote, ““Cathal Breen is altogether the most welcome crime solver in British fiction, ” and the New York Daily News just said, “Shaw makes his sentences sing,” which is enough to make any writer die happy.
I’m running a competition on Facebook, giving away a few copies. If you want to enter, look at my Facebook page. Obviously any help spreading the word about the book is hugely appreciated.
It’s the second in the Song from Dead Lips trilogy. The third is out in hardback in June.
