Just on my way home from Bouchercon, the US crime fest. Each year it’s in a different location. This year – my first – it was in New Orleans, a location that made it also the most popular for years.
It was my first time to hook up with my US publishers, Mulholland who have done a beautiful job of publishing me and also a chance to meet a lot of writers whose work I love.
I decided to keep a video diary; I would love to have done more but it was a busy few days. The results are here.
1. On the train to the airport
2. In which I meet the great George Easter
2. In which Mark Edwards discusses the strange reality of being a best-seller
4. I meet the very lovely Joe R. Lansdale, another Mulholland author
5. … and find a man who has been brutally murdered 20 times
