Lethal Secrets. A Crime Writers’ Panel with Paula Hawkins, William Shaw and Harriet Tyce
May 31, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
£12.00
The Festival is delighted to welcome a highly entertaining trio of fiendish plotters. Paula Hawkins’ The Girl On The Train broke sales records around the world in its first year and ignited a new passion for twisty fiction about the darkness of ordinary lives. To talk about crime fiction’s skeleton-filled closets, she’ll be joined by Harriet Tyce, whose deliciously deceit-filled debut Blood Orange was published in 2019 to huge critical acclaim.
William Shaw will be talking to them about the craft of writing dangerous characters – and about their new books, Paula Hawkins’ A Slow Fire Burning and Harriet Tyce’s It Ends At Midnight. Writing as GW Shaw, William’s masterly new novel is Dead Rich, an edge of your seat adventure yarn set on a luxury yacht in the Caribbean.
