Location, Location, Location: Thinking about ‘place’ in writing

Rooting story in a landscape brings the narrative alive to the reader in extraordinary ways. This will be a day of exercises to develop our ability to both observe and render place in our writing. We’ll use location as a way to unlock our imagination, and also as a way of exploring new perspectives – new ways of telling the stories we want to tell.
