William Shaw: One Community One Book

One Community, One Book is back for 2020! And once again now only has Kett’s Books found a book we know the whole town will enjoy, we’ve persuaded the author to get to know us through the course of 2020.

William Shaw‘s novels about Detective Alexandra Cupidi are real page turners, addressing problems we face today, and they’ll appeal to anyone who likes Elly Griffiths’ Ruth Galloway novels. We’ve chosen Deadland, the second in the series, and we’ve even negotiated to get hold of paperbacks before they’re available to the rest of the country.

William Shaw’s first One Community, One Book event is Thursday 27 Feb, 7:00 at Wymondham Baptist Church.

Because this is during the town’s Fiver Fest, the bookshop is offering entry to the event for £5, with a free copy of the book (and we’ll let you have it now, so you can start reading and spreading the word!) He will also be getting to know our town through visits to schools and community groups.
