When Leila Abu el Hawa started Post-Apocalyptic Book Group she never expected it to be so successful. What started as a jokey alternative to all the historical reading groups, or crime book clubs, turned out to have an extraordinary life of its own, as I discovered when I visited them at a pub in London’s King’s Cross.
