Sprout Pictures, the award-winning independent Television and Film production company founded by Stephen Fry and Gina Carter, has bought the rights to produce William Shaw’s Breen and Tozer trilogy for TV.
Sprout Pictures productions include the ITV adaptation of the Ian Rankin bestseller Doors Open, Chris O’Dowd and Nick Murphy’s comedy drama Moone Boy for Sky 1 and the hit ITV drama series Kingdom.
The Breen and Tozer trilogy launched last year A Song from Dead Lips, hailed by the Mail on Sunday as “an excellent debut thriller”. It was followed in June 2014 by A House of Knives. The third book in the trilogy will be published in 2015.
